Website Project

The project goal was to redesign a non-profit website. “The Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, Inc” was chosen because the website was outdated and not optimized for the iPhone or iPad. The design challenge for the website was to amend the placement of information and provide ease of navigation. The target audience for the organization is cancer patients, survivors, and their families, as well as donors. In order to fit the message of the non-profit’s brand, the logo was reworked with a new color palette, and the website changed. This included aligning visual elements aligning to a grid and adding consistency. The other change made to the website was the use of hierarchy in the text. This allowed for a more engaging interface and ease of navigation.
