Techtronic Industries

Techtronic Industries (TTi) is a leading company specializing in designing and manufacturing tools for renowned brands such as Milwaukee, Ryobi, and Hart. In my role at TTi, I was responsible for designing and developing labels for prototype tools. This involved utilizing 3D software like SolidWorks to create detailed mockups and extract surfaces for label application. The process demanded close collaboration with various departments, ensuring alignment on specifications and design goals. Additionally, I managed multiple iterations of designs, refining them based on review to meet high-quality standards.

Order of operation

Many of these projects adhered to a structured production process for designing new tools. As a label designer, I collaborated closely with industrial designers throughout the entire development cycle. This partnership ensured that label placements met legal compliance standards and that all design updates were accurately incorporated into the 3D models. Regularly coordinating and leading meetings was a key part of my role, allowing me to effectively communicate design changes to other departments and maintain alignment across teams.
