Yobel typeface

Yobel is a serif typeface designed for Jubilee Farms, a small organic, sustainable farming business in Pauline, South Carolina. The goal was to project an earth-friendly farming image through a distinctive typeface. The serif typeface design expresses a clean, organic, and happy appeal by its bold letterform and a unique slant shape in some of the letterforms. The goal was to design the typeface but take it one step further to create a logo to complete the small farming business brand. The word Jubilee has its origins in Hebrew, and Yobel is an extension of the name as an expression of joy.
